SAN BERNARDINO, CA – San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder Chris Wilhite has delivered Supplemental Assessment Roll #133 to the County’s Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector. This roll carries a net assessed value of $4,197,994,296.

“I have signed and delivered Supplemental Assessment Roll #133 to the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector,” said Assessor-Recorder Chris Wilhite. “Included in this supplemental roll are 16,511 parcels, which represent recent real estate transactions including property ownership transfers and new developments.”

In accordance with California state law, county assessors are mandated to reassess property upon changes in ownership or new construction, regardless of whether the value increases or decreases. These reassessments result in supplemental assessments, which are issued for real property such as land, improvements, fixtures, and taxable possessory interests, excluding personal property or any property not subject to Proposition 13.

Supplemental Rolls are provided three times a year, in addition to the annual Property Assessment Roll, which is typically delivered in July.

Property owners subject to assessment will receive written notices by mail from the assessor, as required by state law. For those interested in viewing their personal assessed values, they can visit arc.sbcounty.gov or contact the Assessor’s toll-free number at 1-877-885-7654 for assistance.
