SAN BERNARDINO, CA – San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder Chris Wilhite delivered the Supplemental Assessment Roll #131 to the County’s Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector. Supplemental Assessment Roll #131 contains a net assessed value of $6,805,879,380.

“Supplemental Assessment Roll #131 has been signed and delivered to the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector,” said Assessor-Recorder Chris Wilhite. “This supplemental assessment roll contained over 16,500 parcels, and reflects recent real estate transactions such as transfers of property and new construction.”

State law requires county assessors to reappraise property upon a change in ownership or new construction to identify changes in assessed value that occur in the middle of a fiscal year, whether an increase or decrease. Supplemental assessments are issued on real property such as land, improvements, fixtures and taxable possessory interests, but do not apply to personal property or any property not subject to Proposition 13.

A Supplemental Roll is provided three times a year, in addition to the annual Property Assessment Roll.

Property owners who are assessed will be provided a written notice by mail from the assessor, as required by state law. Individuals wishing to see their personal assessed values may visit: arc.sbcounty.gov. The public can also call the Assessor’s toll-free number at 1-877-885-7654.
