Assessor Josie Gonzales signs Supplemental Roll #136

SAN BERNARDINO, CA – San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk Josie Gonzales has delivered Supplemental Assessment Roll #136 to the County’s Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector. This roll carries a net assessed value of $4,764,948,425.

“I have officially signed and submitted Supplemental Assessment Roll #136 to Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector Ensen Mason,” said Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk Josie Gonzales. “This roll accounts for 15,468 parcels, capturing recent property transactions such as ownership changes and new construction projects.”

As required by California law, county assessors must reassess properties following changes in ownership or completion of new construction, whether values increase or decrease. These changes result in supplemental assessments, which apply to real property—land, buildings, fixtures, and taxable possessory interests—but exclude personal property and properties exempt under Proposition 13.

Supplemental Rolls are provided three times a year, in addition to the annual Property Assessment Roll, which is typically delivered in July.

Property owners who have received a supplemental assessment will receive written notice by mail from the assessor, as required by state law.
