SAN BERNARDINO, CA (August 16, 2021) – San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder Bob Dutton signed and delivered Supplemental Assessment Roll #125 to the County’s Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector. Supplemental Assessment Roll #125 contains a net assessed value of $4,533,607,404.
“Supplemental Assessment Roll #125, which reflects a steady volume of increased activity in San Bernardino County’s residential and commercial properties, has been signed and delivered to the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector,” said Assessor-Recorder Bob Dutton.
State law requires county assessors to reappraise property upon a change in ownership or new construction to identify changes in assessed value that occur in the middle of a fiscal year, whether an increase or decrease. Supplemental assessments are issued on real property such as land, improvements, fixtures and taxable possessory interests, but do not apply to personal property or any property not subject to Proposition 13.
A Supplemental Roll is provided three times a year, in addition to the annual Property Assessment Roll, which was delivered this past July.
Property owners who are assessed will be provided a written notice by mail from the assessor, as required by state law. Individuals wishing to see their personal assessed values may visit the Assessor’s website. The public can also call the Assessor’s toll-free number at 1-877-885-7654.
